Autodidact Helder Deploige (77, Ghent B) worked as composer, musician and producer with Sukilove, Flip Kowlier, Chitlin' Fooks, Kopergietery, Kommil Foo. \r In 2003 multi-instrumentalist Helder produces his debut The king lost his crown in his bedroom, playing every instrument to a rootsy popalbum. \r \r In 2006, Helder releases a second solo album: The ceiling is not the sky. This time he went to New York and Morocco to record. Helder played every single instrument himself and again, did the overall production. The album feat. Steven De bruyn (The Rhythm Junks), Trixie Whitley (Chris Whitley) and Mariken Boussemaere (Kadril). \r \r In 2009, Helder is working on the 3th part of the home recording trilogy. Again, the album will feature some expected and unexpected guests. In the meanwhile Helder is trying out new songs with his one-man-band or with his live band.\r
