来自加拿大最大的独立唱片CP Records的女歌手Mia Martina，既2010年翻唱热单Stereo Love后一炮成名，单曲在Canadian Hot 100 上取得第10位，销量破白金，并被加拿大Juno Awards提名Best Dance Single of the Year，同年她发行了一首宣传单Chasing the Rush，并与同公司的歌手Danny Fernandes (Shawn Desman的弟弟) 合作了歌曲Dream Catcher，收录于 Danny Fernandes 的第2张大碟《AutomaticLUV》中。2011年5月10日，Mia Martina发行了自己的第2支正式单曲Latin Moon，另外一支与Tune-Adkits合作的舞曲Summer Love也于当天同步发行。Martina grew up in Saint-Ignace, New Brunswick, Canada. Her father has French roots. She speaks fluent French and English. At age 18, she moved to Ottawa, Ontario to go to Carleton University.While at university, she saw an ad for an intern position at a local label, CP Records. After a year of hard work, Martina went from delivering CDs to radio stations and office administration work to singing backup in the studio for other recording artists on the label.
