About Our Vision LIFE Worship is a group of passionate believers, who are convinced that Jesus is the one and only true God. A community of musicians and singers from a local church in Auckland, New Zealand called LIFE. They can be found serving their local congregation on a weekly basis. This is where it all began for them, and this is how they shall continue. The band represents the broader Worship and Creative Arts team at LIFE, which includes hundreds of faithful people. The church was birthed from within the hearts of Senior Pastors, Paul and Maree de Jong in 1991 and has grown into a thriving local church, committed to helping people cultivate vibrant and real relationships with God and with others. The vision of LIFE, to ‘Impact and change our generation with the reality of Jesus’. Out of this foundation came a hunger within the LIFE Worship team to express what God was saying and doing in their local community, through songs. This album is exactly that… “For years, we have had a burning desire in our hearts to bring something new to our church; the song of our church if you will. Our debut album ‘For Freedom’ is the culmination of many years of dreaming and working on the sound of LIFE. It’s a collection of songs written for our church congregation and born out of the desire to see the heart-cry of LIFE put to life through music. Subsequently, we felt that we could help inspire and equip local churches with fresh worship songs, and help them provide something different to their worship expression and make that available to their church. LIFE Worship is all about the church. The songs are written for church with Sunday Worship in mind. Whether in a youth setting or in Sunday services, these are the heart songs of LIFE. Every member of LIFE Worship is actively involved in building our church on a weekly basis.”
