Ever since he was a small boy growing up in the rough inner-city community of Collins Close in White Hall, Kingston, Don Husky was always surrounded by music. The talented young man whose real name is Rushane Brown was born on the 7th of June 1992. He grew up attending the Constant Spring Primary & Junior High School and the Holy Trinity High School where completed his secondary education.\r Don Husky developed a very strong love for music at an early age due to the influence of music blaring from sound-systems in and around his community. Music was also at home where he listened the latest Dancehall hits on the radio. By the time he was in primary school like most Jamaican children who love music Don Husky, was holding impromptu concerts by beating the desk and singing lines from popular Dancehall songs during lunch time.\r Bitten by the music bug Don Husky soon began to visit the local recording studios in White Hall. At first he was only recording demos but deep in his heart Don Husky knew he wanted to become a successful recording artiste and he never gave up on his dream.\r As faith would have it in 2012 he met popular Dancehall selector Foota Hype at event. Foota Hype who is also a part of Downsound Records production and street promotion team was very impressed with Don Husky’s performance at the event.
