Vincent Pace was born in Australia of Maltese parentage. The ninth of twelve children. Composer, songwriter, producer and an accomplished musician, he has a strong interest in composing instrumental music for listening pleasure and more recently music for short film. Influenced by a smorgasbord of genres he has the ability, drive and in his nature to evolve, create new and fresh ideas, collaborating with composers from Australia and from around the world.\r \r With training in classical piano and theory combined with electronic mainstream explorations, Vincent is attracted to sounds of classical textures immersed with sounds and ambiance of the modern world to express a story and emotion. He has a thirst for new technology, recording and producing, utilizing both acoustic and synthetic sounds.\r \r Vincent enjoys live performances and believes it's a constructive way to gauge and 'road-test' new material...he loves everything about performing, he undoubtedly always receives a real 'buzz' on stage, no matter how many are in the audience.....that's where it all starts to happen for him...it's never the same twice......from backyard private functions to cafes, nightclubs, social clubs, outdoor concerts, praise and worship in churches, weddings, even funerals, he has performed at nearly every kind of venue..\r \r He has won awards for composing and songwriting. In 2012 was a short listed composer for Matt Bird's APRA Tropscore 'The Exchange' Vincent is very proud of the acknowledgement, to be recognized with so many respected and well known Australian Screen and TV composers was truly an honor for him. His music has been recognized and heard all around the globe. Songs like 'On The Brink' and 'Jet Lag' from the Graft album have made their way to in-store playlists in the EU countries. In 2002 his music was also featured in 'the Womex Song Expo' in Essen Germany.\r \r In 2000 his song 'Reign Down Peace' was one of 22 finalists chosen for A Song for Peace In the World Rome. In a diligent selection process, a high-ranking international jury chose the 22 winning songs from a large number of entries from 60 countries all over the world. The jury also included 'Grammy Award winning' heavy weights, Ennio Morricone and Nicola Piovani.
