
Matthew Koma
Matthew Koma (born June 2, 1987) is an American musician and singer-songwriter born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, New York. Inspired by Elvis Costello and Bruce Springsteen, Koma started his music career in punk rock, later transitioning into a mixture of genres ranging from pop and hip-hop to EDM. Koma's early collaborations include work with Zedd, Swedish House Mafia, Alesso and Ryan Tedder of One Republic. His collaboration with Zedd has been his most notable accomplishment to date with their song "Spectrum" being premiered by Rolling Stone and spending two weeks at number 1 on the Billboard Dance Club chart. The song was quickly added to the rotation at radio stations like KIIS-FM, and 92.3 Now.
