Known as "J.Fo", she stands five feet not including her mohawk. With a style that infuses soul, pop and the percussive phrasing of hip hop, she writes most of her songs on her ukulele named Astoria. She says, "I hear all of the instruments in my head, but the ukulele is the easiest and most mobile thing to write on."
