In 1992, they signed with Necropolis Records and recorded and released the Angelcunt (Tales of Desecration) EP in 1993. After its release, they entered the studio to record a full-length for Necropolis, but after disagreement with the terms of the contract, they decided to not release the album. This material was finally released in 2005 as an EP entitled Angelslaying Black Fucking Metal. In late 1993, Archgoat decided to vanish from the black metal scene. They eventually reformed in 2004. All artwork associated with Archgoat has been by Thorncross with only 2 EP's, the demos and certain splits excluded.
