It's in a moodier, yet still passionate context such as the intriguing "Weekend in Paris" or the soulful "I Wouldn't Beg for Water" that she's most effective. This album also features her powerful take on "Wind Beneath My Wings" (recorded seven years before Bette Midler's number-one version), and ranks as one of Easton's best.
