Thank you for joining me on this CD adventure. This is my first CD although I dream of doing others, providing the Good Lord’s willing and the creek don’t rise. Songs seem to keep drifting through my head or at least under my hat.

Some of you may wonder about who I am. I grew up on a small farm with a small creek and a couple hound dogs running through it. After rumbling through college, the Army Infantry invited me to jump out of airplanes and to wander through jungles in the dark, and then awarded me an all-expenses-paid trip to Vietnam. I did make it back, and the GI Bill from that experience helped pay the way to learning about birds and farms. I’m now a retired professor building bridges to music, something birds and rural places do as well.
