The Cologne duo Millennium issues its first German language CD ?Deutsch für Anfänger? (German for beginners) On 15 August 2005 the Cologne record label Lion Tribe Music is issuing the first German language CD by the group Millennium, with the title ?Deutsch für Anfänger?. The duo, which has already produced works in the genres electro-dub, chill and drum&bass will now be showing its talents in the field of electro-pop. The main feature of the maxi CD with five different songs is its variety. Millennium incorporate the most diverse stylistic directions in their songs, and the CD contains elements of pop, dub, chill and rock. The production is purely electronic and is reminiscent of the electro-pop greats of the Eighties like Alphaville, Depeche Mode and Yellow. At the same time the songs make an impact with their warmth and the almost physical sound. This is achieved among other things by the acoustically oriented mix of the CD, but the voice of Sister Kune Zuva contributes to the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. She fascinates with her wide expressive range, sometimes gentle and mellifluous, sometimes quizzical, melancholy or challenging. Her texts are consistently committed, but at the same time always remain poetic and entertaining. As a result Millennium have succeeded in creating a versatile and well-balanced production in their latest CD ?Deutsch für Anfänger?.
