The sounds and styles of music that influence this up coming artist originate from the very day she was born. Lida (or Lidita, as her friends and family call her) was born in the port city of Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz Mexico on August 25, 1971. As daughter to an accomplished family of musicians and at a very early age she was exposed to the likes of Santana and Deodato to Chicago and The Beattles. At 13 Lida began studying classical piano at the conservatory of music in Xalapa, Veracruz Mexico. It was during her formal studies there that she encountered other students with similar aspirations as her. It was with these very students that together they formed the powerhouse rock band known to all as Parametros. Their local popularity grew state wide and they soon found themselves touring as a headlining house band. During the band's peak they were offered contracts by, and spent an entire year touring the famous Hard Rock Cafe franchise of Mexico.
