Hilary and Jennifer are songwriters, vocalists and guitar players. Hilary also plays harmonica and Jennifer plays banjo. They have been musical collaborators since their early teens. They live a province apart but manage to spend some time together every year to play and sing. Their sibling harmony is lush and ripe, their lyrics honest and evocative.

The Drummond Sisters write about the trials and the joys of everyday life. Every experience is fodder for a new song idea. They write on their own and collaboratively. Sometimes the collaboration goes to such an extent that neither remembers who wrote what. They move effortlessly between harmonies and lead vocals breathing at the same time, as siblings do.
