I'm a Vancouver singer-songwriter performing adult contemporary tunes. I like to paint scenes from various stages of our lives. I'm in love with words.

I play kabossy, dulcimer, and autoharp. I'm in love with the chord voicings of an open-tuned guitar, so that colors my acoustic sound. My guitar strumming is influenced by years of swing kit swishing and West African drumming. I'm a sucker for strings and skins.

While the acoustic guitar provides the main stock in solo performances, but my CD features a gumbo of instrument textures: cello, bass, kora, kabossy, dobro, accordion, and drums and FX.

My songs have a Canadian flavor too, not only from Francophone seasonings, but from decades of simmering in east and west coast sounds, eh.

The tunes are a blend of several styles; jazz, country ballad, folk, rock, R'n'B, Spanish, and a blend of French Occitanian with Indian. My world is ruled by rhythm and melody.
