BHH is a group of friends who enjoy making music together to the glory of God. The guys realize the importance of family and involvement in their local church, Central Baptist of Dunn NC, and therefore sing a limited number of concerts per year. God has gifted them with a platform to share what it truly means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. This is their goal as men of God, husbands and fathers as He continues to use them through music.

After several years of singing tenor with groups like Heaven Bound and the Anchormen, Michael Hayes along with Lamar Butler, Darren Hughes and sound tech, Rod Person, began ministering together in 2006. Although Lamar had only been singing a few years, he has developed into a great lead singer. Rounding out the harmony, Darren weaves his pastoral experience and China adoption testimony of Sophia into their ministry. A new face in the group is Matt Parker adding bass vocals to many of the group’s songs creating another dimension to their concerts as the BHH Quartet!

Adopted is the CD BHH waited 8 years to make. The group wrote 7 of the 12 songs along with new arrangements of classics by Ira Stanphill, Andrae Crouch, Dad Speer and others. The song Adopted was written about Sophia, the daughter of Darren and Margy Hughes, adopted from Nanjing, China in 2011 and anyone saved by Jesus Christ.
