This album was created over the course of April 2014 to November 2014 and links two distinct flavors of regional bluegrass music. The guitar and mandolin work done by Riley Hill and David Thom in Sonoma, CA draws influences from west coast innovators like David Grisman and Jerry Garcia as well as traditional bluegrass pioneers like Doc Watson and Bill Monroe. The vocals done by Hill, Thom and Ryan Breen have a unique sound of tightly blended harmonies and more of a west coast sound influenced by the likes of Laurie Lewis, Vern Williams and Red Allen.

The banjo, lead fiddle and bass duties were recorded in Lexington Kentucky and feature the work of Jack Hicks, who spent time playing banjo along side the
