Marcela Hersch compositions for piano, sitar, tabla & tanpura. Marcela Hersch is a Mexican pianist and composer graduated from the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico city and did her Master's in Music at Indiana University. She has given concerts since she was seven years old and has played in Mexico, USA, Costa Rica, Cuba, Spain, Germany and India. Her music at this moment is a fusion of Western classical music with Indian classical music. It has written as well as improvisation periods. The blending of piano with Indian instruments has been a challenge and she has achieved the sound she imagined years ago with this new compositions for piano, sitar, tabla and tanpura. Enjoy it as she did by writing, improvising, recording and she does enjoys it when she play it in public!
