OBYAW- Songwriter, producer, dancehall/reggae artist

Growing up in Ghana, Obyaw got his first taste of entertainment doing stand-up at boarding school. It wasn’t until he moved to Belgium that he discovered his talent for musical entertainment. As someone who loves to connect and inspire an audience, he believes in making music that is real and authentic, music that comes from a seed and has a meaning.

Beginning in 2004 by working with the music group Vally-two, Obyaw was able to build his skills as a songwriter and producer, discovering and expanding his creativity. Desiring to learn even more, he travelled to different cities to watch and learn from many local artists, who also gave him the opportunity to perform. Shortly thereafter, he teamed up with the group No Surrendered, releasing two singles with them (HALIMA and I WANT YOU). Currently, Evans Boateng aka OB YAW is focusing on his solo career, and looking toward releasing an album in May 2017. In addition, he is the co-founder of Mad Wave Productions alongside his good friend, Zack Carlens.
