The music of DREAMSMITH is a collaboration of Larry Smith, a jazz/rock pianist/composer and Adrienne Z, a folk rock singer/songwriter. Smith met Adrienne at the Pier House Resort Wine Galley where musical director Smith performed nightly and featured a sterling line-up of professional entertainers from all over the world - as well as blossoming talent from all walks of life. Adrienne, a singer songwriter originally hailing from Boston, stopped by to see Smith showcase her friend. After the show Adrienne sat at the piano and impressed Larry by performing one of her original compositions. After that the story wrote itself when Smith invited Adrienne to write melodies and lyrics to some of his already developed instrumentals, along with evolving pieces that morphed into a new sound with every new tune they wrote as the project progressed.
