Brother and sister, Dan and Amy Arnott have been singing together forever. From a young age, they were carted around to music festivals all around Australia; they were raised on the festival scene.

Dan and Amy began writing songs influenced by Paul Kelly, Peter, Paul & Mary, Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear, Simon and Garfunkle and of course, many Australian singer songwriters.

They formed a full band, with Tom, Sarah and Nick, and play “exquisite, pure ballads” with beautiful harmonies, exciting band arrangements and lush textures. After the launch of their debut single ‘Talk’ in 2013 and subsequent radio play on ABC 774, RRR and PBS, DAN AND AMY BAND have released their second single, ‘Pretend’.

This release is somber and reflective, and combines contemporary indie influences with 70’s folk and baroque textures.
