The 50th Anniversary Album by the Keynotes from South East London.

The Keynotes play traditional Gospel Songs, Hymns and Spirituals and original compositions.

Formed in 1957 when members of the Brownhill Road Baptist Youth Club, David G Hawken and The Keynotes performed
1950s and 1960s style Southern Gospel with a blues twinge.

Drummer Tim Anderson went on to play for the Hendrix influenced Gospel Blues band 'Out of Darkness' in the 1970s.
