The making of this EP has been an exciting journey. It started when I met up with Carlos Matos who I lost contact with a long time ago. He studied jazz piano at a Dutch music school. After chatting with him about my music, we decided to play together. He played the piano, while I played my guitar and sang my songs. We did this about a year or so. Soon or later a 'bassman' was added to the mix which gave the songs a 'lower' voice. In fact, during this year, I was re-discovering what my music was about. It wasn't about playing in the charts and making a fast buck. It was vulnerable, small, at times elegant and smooth, but always honest and straight from the heart. After this year we decided to record a few songs and this resulted in this album. I hope you enjoy this as much we did making it.
