In Beloved, I hope you’ll find an endearing reminder of your own beloved. Devotion is the piece I created to tell my wife, Jan, “I love you more than anything. Period.” Our promises to one another are everything; Chanson is my way of saying “I promised to dance with you in Paris one day, and I’ll never forget.” And while every lifelong love story has painful nights of worry and prayer, Through The Night reminds us what a comfort it is to have your beloved at your side. Walking Joy is a tribute to Jan’s happy, peaceful spirit, a sweet nickname bestowed upon her by my friend and fellow artist, David Nevue. If I could draw a map to her heart, it would be a most romantic treasure map; she is My Treasure. I remember a time when I sat on the balcony, entranced, watching her walk on the beach in the moonlight and a melody came to me...it is captured as She Walks In Beauty.
