Hard Livin

Chris Scott has been punching away at the industry for several years now. Hard Livin, his third indie release, is finally getting the attention he's been looking for from Nashville. It's been a long hard road for Chris with a couple of close calls with major labels. Off his first two indie releases he did a few stints opening for bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Blackfoot, Allman Brothers and Tom Petty with The Brotherly Love Band, which enjoyed a run on local radio in Birmingham with their song "Can't Find My Way Home", and Soul Tramp who toured extensively up and down the east coast. Now establishing himself as a solo artist Chris was able to bring in Double Dragon Studios, headed up by Damon Johnson from Slave to the System and formely of Brother Cane, to produce and lend Johnson's guitar skills to the Hard Livin record. A few other longtime friends of Johnson's and Scott's joined in to round out the mix such as Bill Wilkes on drums who currently tours and records with John Waite, Alan Park on bass from
