Indie Folk band Matt Sanders & Friends have been playing together since 2011, growing up in the mountains of East Tennessee, they found themselves as a sort of backup band for front man Matt Sanders. Matt began writing music and songs almost immediately for the band. And soon it became clear that this was more then just a side project. And so they formed "Matt Sanders & Friends" The band has a wonderful soulful sound reminiscent of Damien Rice and Amos Lee.

“Come Hell Or High Water” was their first record recorded within a group setting, and both Sanders and his songs seem invigorated by the process. Their sound and style is contemporary, alternative folk, both soulful and emotionally open, so it’s important that plenty of space is made for his songs to breathe.
