"Reminiscing on the Future" is an idea I came up with one night when I was thinking about how different my life had turned out than what I may have thought it would be like when I was younger. I often wonder if I'd change anything as a young kid if I had any way of knowing where I'd be today. I decided to make that thought a reality within this album. The idea is that I run into a young boy sitting alone under a tree. What the boy doesn't know: I am him, from the future. I explain to him that I know him very well and ultimately hand him a CD player which contains an album, and a pair of headphones. The young boy will then begin listening to the album, therefore "Reminiscing on the Future". While listening, I'd like for you to put yourself in the young boy's shoes, listening from his perspective is pretty much the whole point of the album. Although it is a concept album, I decided to shy away from forcing too much of the story on the listener throughout the album to simply make it more enjoyable to listen to. The album contains a wide variety of songs. If you wanna hear something real, this album is for you. If you wanna hear something you can bump at a party, this album is for you. Even if you just wanna hear something that's just enjoyable to listen to, this album is for you. All in all, I've never been more excited about something in my life. Creating this has been extremely challenging, but well worth it. I believe "Reminiscing on the Future" will be a huge kick start in the right direction for what I want to accomplish as an artist. I hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.
