Archie & The Bird Brains was formed when Michael Richardson wanted to play a few covers at the school open mic. He decided to go to his friend Jayson Mangis, a robotically accurate drummer, and his friend Nick Dache, a boy who knew how to play one song on piano. Somehow they managed to put a few songs together the weekend of the open mic. After that, the least knowledgeable musician in the group, Nick, decided he wanted to write some original music and put together Relax. After that there was no stopping the talented boys from just getting better and over the course of one year writing, recording, and producing an entire album.
